When Black enclosed with B, White chose to approach with C instead of keeping with the fundamentals and stopping Black make an ideal extension with D. Black did not took advantage of White's mistake, so White was still able to play D. After the opening, the middle game started when White invaded at E. White's response with F was new to White, so White had to improvise. G became a very big point. White did not took the earliest chance to play G and create a living group that could destroy all of Black's potential in the Apex. When White connected at H for aji later, Black made the biggest mistake by playing I. White J killed Black's six stones in the North East. The game was practically over after White J. Black had to run and save the K group. White destroyed as much profit in the Apex before securing territories in the corners. The lesson in this game: Keep to the fundamentals. Brown Stone should not worry about simple-minded, passive, or slow moves, as long as these moves stay true to the fundamentals of Go.
